St. Pete Beach

St. Pete Beach is a coastal city in Pinellas County, in the US state of Florida, and is famous as a tourist destination. St. Pete Beach was formed in 1957 from the Towns of Pass-A-Grille, Don CeSar, Belle Vista, St. Petersburg Beach and unincorporated Pinellas County. Originally its name was St. Petersburg Beach, but on March 9, 1994, citizens voted to officially shorten the name to "St. Pete Beach" to distinguish it from the nearby City of St. Petersburg.

St. Pete Beach geographically is comprised of three islands and part of a fourth. The largest of these is Long Key, a barrier island surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico to the west, and Boca Ciega Bay to the east. The three smaller barrier islands are scattered in Boca Ciega Bay to the east of Long Key. They are Boca Ciega Isle, Vina del Mar Island, and the northern tip of Sailboat Key (referenced on some older maps as Deadman Key). Three bridges lead into the city, connecting it to Treasure Island, South Pasadena, and the Bayway Isles area of St. Petersburg. Total area is 19.8 sq mi (51.5 km2), of which only 2.2 sq mi (5.8 km2) is land. Official elevation is 0 ft (0 m).

The population was 9,929 at the 2000 census. St. Pete Beach is part of the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, FL Metropolitan Statistical Area.

i was overcharged $60+ dollars at “Shhh! Don't Tell Mama", left a message to rectify the situation and was never called back. The merchandise was made very cheaply. I definitely would say AVOID this store at all costs.

The Rocky Horror performance put on by Interchangeable Parts at this theatre every Saturday is second to none. If you've never seen the show, or even if you're a Rocky veteran, you've really got to take the chance and see this show. $5 only. The theatre itself is amazing. One screen only, but a great feel to this old-style venue. Beer and Wine available at the counter. Indy films, award-winning international films, and even the occasional Summer blockbuster will be shown here. Cheap.
